Ok so this book started out with an intriguing plot which I was really enjoying. Although as the book progressed it didn't seem to get anywhere. But the end was just poor. I'm disappointed we didn't get to the book group to discuss as I was really curious to see what others thought of it. I just felt the end was just too horrible to make this book any good.

A great concept book about determinism and free will, which I will admit has a weak ending, but I guess it doesn't bother me as much as it does you two!

I swear that if I'd given up reading this book prior to the last section it would have got five stars. If the last section had been replaced with "And then they woke up. It was all a dream" it would still have got two stars. But the absolute mince that was the third section ruined what had up until that point been an excellent story...not the best writing but excellent none the less.

An interesting start kinda ruined by a pretty stupid final section that involves a low-speed chase around the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. I liked the speculative stuff in the first sections and it was an interesting concept overall. It is also much better than the TV series.
